General notes

From Graham Coad:

I am almost positive the replica had a "Golden Hind" nameplate and I wondered if it was one of the replicas of Sir Francis Drake's "Golden Hind" and from the mists of time I have a faint memory that it had been used in some sort of filming.

Puzzlingly, one of the replicas "The Golden Hinde" (with an 'e') was built in Appledore shipyards and launched in 1973/74 and has been all round the world, so it's probably not that one....built too late?

Another replica has been permanently berthed in Brixham Harbour since 1963 or 64, (depending who you listen to, and they Deb'n men are bigger liars than Tom Pepper!) so this could be the one, and they may have got their dates wrong, unless this accords with the date of the photo.
